# ALT Image Writer GUI prototypes
This workspace contains two independent interfaces for `alt-rootfs-installer`:
- `crates/flasher-gtk` — GTK 4/libadwaita
- `crates/flasher-qt` — native Qt 5 Widgets
Both are interface previews. They inspect supported boards and removable drives, but do not write to any device.
## System dependencies
On ALT Linux:
```sh
sudo apt-get install gcc-c++ libgtk4-devel libadwaita-devel qt5-base-devel
```
The Qt crate discovers Qt 5 through `pkg-config` and uses the platform's native Qt widget style. It does not require QML or Qt Quick.
## Build
Build both applications:
```sh
cargo build
```
Build or run one interface:
```sh
cargo build -p flasher-gtk
cargo build -p flasher-qt
cargo run -p flasher-gtk
cargo run -p flasher-qt
```
